There is a newly-created position available at Transdev London Sovereign for a Purchasing and Systems Officer who will manage all purchasing matters and give support to any system users. Using tools such as Sage (the company's purchasing and accounting system) and Excel, the post holder will be primarily involved in the Purchasing department and assisting other departments that use computerised systems.
Working as part of a team, key duties of the position will include:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required as the position will require interaction at all levels, both within the company and also with our suppliers. The successful applicant will be keen to develop a career in a procurement environment and should have knowledge of contemporary stock control systems. He / she will have a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office environment including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access and be able to further develop those skills as necessary to fulfil the various demands of the role.
